Santiago Spanish Language School Chile
Established in 1990, the school comprises 17 classrooms, all equipped with DVD players & televisions, and air conditioning for your comfort. Internet access is provided free to all students. All teachers are native speakers with university degrees, and have received extensive training to ensure they meet the school’s strict requirements, to ensure students receive the best quality tuition possible.
The Language ClassesClasses run for 4 hours a day, in small, intimate groups for optimum learning effect. You will be surprised how quickly you learn to speak Spanish! Teaching methods are designed to make students comfortable practicing the new language in everyday situations, such as travelling on buses, meeting people, and participating in conversations with them!
Prior to beginning the classes, you will sit a brief test to determine your level of Spanish. You will be arranged into groups, depending on the results of your test, to ensure your peers are of similar ability!
Project Location
Santiago boasts an array of European architecture, shopping, beautiful parks, and a nightlife that doesn’t know when to end! The school has excellent connections with the city, served by buses, trains, & underground.
Accommodation & Meals
Living with a host family is a great way to further your learning outside the classroom! Our host families live in safe and attractive areas and are close friends of the language school. You will have a private room, typically with a shared bathroom.
Two or three meals a day are provided, depending on the family. Students will be provided with a key to the front door and are free to come and go as they please.
VolunteeringAfter learning the basics, most of our paticipants put their language skills to good use by volunteering.
