Scuba Diving Videography Thailand

Country Information

The Kingdom of Thailand, with a population of 65 million people, is located in the heart of Southeast Asia and shares borders with Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar.  It is an area of outstanding natural beauty complemented by impressive architecture, including striking temples. The country is also well known for its appetising food and the people renowned for their friendly manner.

Time
Thailand is 7 hours ahead of GMT.

Thai people are very informal and at the same time very creative and care free.  So be aware that plans can change without clear reason and be prepared to be flexible.

Getting There

You will need to arrange to fly into Bangkok International Airport, where you will be collected and taken to your accommodation for your Bangkok stopover.

A number of international airlines fly direct to Bangkok, such as Thai Airways and Qantas/British Airways. There are many cheap options for indirect flights, including Emirates, Qatar Airways and many European airlines.

Climate

In general it is hot all year round. On average the temperature is around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity is high all the time.

Due to the monsoon climate, there is a rainy season lasting from the end of July to the end of October. March is the hottest month of the year. If you are going during the monsoon, don’t worry there is plenty of sun in between the showers.
