Real Gap's Senegal Highlights

Senegal has an abundance of natural attractions: six national parks, four reserves, a variety of birds and wildlife, and access to big game fishing and scuba diving. The people and their music, culture and handicrafts make Senegal a fabulous and very colourful country.

The City of Dakar
Dakar, the Senegalese capital is one of Africa's most exciting cities, it has a French flair that is reminiscent of its colonial days. Dakar has a vibrant music scene, buzzing street markets, and close by is a selection of stunning West African beaches.

Our Senegal Community Volunteer project aims to provide a voluntary service to disadvantaged people and communities, this is one of our most flexible projects. You can choose to help teach English, care for orphans, work with disabled people, help with agriculture, psychotherapy, care for zoo animals and HIV/AIDS awareness.
