Gap Year South America

Gap Year Brochure
A gap year in South America is full of all kinds of exciting possibilities. South America is, of course, a vast continent and it would be easy to spend an entire gap year in South America travelling the region and still not be able to see all of the main sights. Just three of the possible highlights of gap year travel in South America include trekking the Inca Trail in Peru to the ‘lost city’ of Machu Picchu, visiting the incredible Angel Falls in Venezuela and discovering the unique wildlife of Ecuador’s Galapagos Islands. An excellent way to pack in as much as possible on a gap year in South America is to travel there on a Real Gap adventure expedition. Real Gap offers South America gap year adventure expeditions in Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela – enabling travellers to visit all the essentials sights as well as more intrepid destinations a little more ‘off the beaten track.’

Real Gap has a wide range of gap year South America volunteer programmes to choose from if you want to do some volunteer work whilst you’re on your South America gap year. Learn a language – Most of our South America gap year projects include Spanish tuition.
