Typical Volunteer Day

08.00 to 09.45am Breakfast
09.45am Walk to school
10.00am to 1pm Assistance at school
1pm to 2.30pm Sports Coaching for 7-10 year olds
2.30pm to 3.15pm Lunch
3.15pm to 5.15pm Training Session with 10-15 year olds

Most schools finish at 2pm each day, so children tend to have free time for the rest of the day. There are very few activities in which children can engage in and there are few or no scheduled sports classes, where they can learn the importance of teamwork, improve their fitness and develop their coordination skills.

Please Note: The timetable above is a guideline of a typical day, however, schedules may vary according to the weather, necessary schedule changes etc. Volunteers need to be flexible and use their initiative to keep the children motivated.
