World class national parks, beautiful coastline, wildlife, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro all combined with a warm climate, Tanzania has all you could possibly ask for! Real Gap's Tanzania Highlights

Mount Kilimanjaro
Africa's largest mountain, and top of the list of many trekking and climbing enthusiasts. There are numerous officially sanctioned routes to the top, and, with a guide, reaching the peak is achievable to almost anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. With The Real Tanzania Gap Experience programme, you will be based in Mt Kilimanjaro's foothills and have an optional mountain week to conquer the worlds largest free-standing volcano.

Zanzibar
Located in the Indian Ocean just 25km off the coast of Tanzania, the archipelago consists of 2 main islands, Unguja and Pemba Island, and numerous smaller ones. Zanzibar has an abundance of wildlife and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Our Gap Year Expedition - Tanzania programme includes a 3 night tour so you can experience the beauty for yourself.
