Teaching football is a great way to volunteer, especially in Africa where there is a huge demand for football teachers/coaches. Sports volunteers are able to teach football in Africa on a number of projects. Some projects require general sports teachers, which will involve teaching football in African schools. Others are football based projects where your main role will be to teach football. In both programmes you will be able to play an important role in teaching football in Africa.

Cape Town Sports Project Teach children who often make do with carrier bags for balls and inspire them to play football or take up other sports. You’ll combine much needed sports coaching with academic tuition. Football Volunteer Ghana Use your love of football to inspire and educate children from disadvantaged backgrounds. You’ll work on a street project or a talent academy, organising training sessions and tournaments, refereeing, advising on tactics and teaching new exercises.
