The trekking week was fantastic; stunning scenary and the hard work brought the group together further, cementing relationships. Also the final week on Koh Samet was fantastic, it was nice to have more freedom to relax and do-your-own-thing, however still having a few activities like the boat trip enabled us to touch base and provided us with something different to do.

this is a once in a life time trip and i've never been so happy than i was when i was in sing buri, there is always something to do, i wasnt bored once, it was impossible to be, if you were lazing around the house you could just walk down the road and visit the school when ever you wanted and play football with the kids, i've never in my life met such happy and grateful kids and i miss every one of them terribly!

The people who looked after us(toon and maprang) where absolutely amazing and gave us so much infomation about the country, they where so helpful and joined in with all activities and showed us how to hav an amazing time in thailand! the trekking was incredible, the jungle is such a beautiful place and our guides where so much fun, they all know wat they are doing and i felt so safe every single second(apart from wen i had a spider crawling on me)!!

as for koh samet island, well the views where breathtaking and there was so much to do! we hired quad bikes for 24 hours and toured the island on them stopping off at the most beautiful beaches, parking up and climbing down the sides of cliffs and jumping into the most blue water you would ever see! it was absolute bliss!! nothing i did or saw disapointed me, it was perfect and i would do anythig to be there right now!

Real Gap was a great help, supplying me with information that covered the most trivial to the “unthinkable” questions. The information sent was very thorough and made me more excited about the experience. Any questions I had, (which I had a few last minute ones!), I could email or phone them, even at the last minute!  Real Gap was really friendly, happy to help which helped me put my mind to rest. Their service was exceptional, a lot better than I expected.

I liked how Real Gap enabled us to all talk before we went so we kind of knew each other before we got there. This also allowed for me to meet people at the airport and fly with them.

Climbing and trekking up waterfalls was just amazing. The beach week on Koh Samet was so much fun! A lot of sun, drinking and relaxing. Also spending my birthday on Khao San Road in Bangkok it was by far the most bizarre and best birthday I've had.

Emma Foster, 3rd May - 4th June 2007

I have totally fallen in love with Thailand, so much that I'm going back in 3 months!! There's lots of anecdotes, too many really, but most of them involve Sangsom buckets and a camera!! Also, I would recommend a tuk-tuk ride to anyone!
