Orientation
You will have an orientation meeting the day after you arrive at the programme site in Singburi, given by co-ordinators of your house. The co-ordinators are friendly local Thais. They are there to show you around, introduce you to Thailand, answer any of your questions and basically make sure you have a good time. They are also a good laugh and really make this programme a special and unique one.
Accommodation and Meals
Your new home will be one of our three ‘Eco Houses’ in Singburi in central Thailand. The houses sleep from 20 to 50 people. All houses have dorm rooms with the number of beds ranging from three to twelve. All houses have western style toilets. Bathrooms have showers and the water is cool - nice and refreshing in the heat. Each house has a communal area where you can eat, relax and meet other people.
Most of the houses are within walking distance of a local shop and a make shift bar provided by the friendly locals. The doors and windows are screened (to protect you from mosquitoes). There are fans in the room.
Free Time
Throughout your programme, you will have plenty of free time in which to relax and explore. We encourage you to make the most of your amazing surroundings and seize the opportunity to take in as much as you can. Trips and excursions will be arranged for groups throughout the programme, and it is entirely up to you which excursions you wish to take part in. Whilst at the Eco Houses, you can sunbathe in the garden, read a book, catch up with friends or visit the town of Singburi to catch up on your e-mails. It is easy to arrange another weekend in the capital, as Singburi is only two hours away from Bangkok.
Project Age Limit
