Grand Canyon Rafting
Though the canyon is in the middle of the desert; plants and wildlife are plentiful. Cactus and wildflowers dot the shores of the Colorado River. Waterfalls tumble to the river where you can find the canyon floor lush with ferns. Wildlife abounds including mule deer, coyotes, bighorn sheep, and ringtail cats. While overhead you may see all species of birds including golden eagles, hawks and falcons, great blue herons and egrets.
As we will be covering a great length of the mighty Colorado River on this rafting trip, you will be travelling in specially crafted motorised rafts.
The rafts will allow us to pack enough supplies to last the entire trip. The rafts are larger and more stable than rowed boats. The means travellers of all fitness levels can enjoy this incredible experience. The raft will also allow you to see 14 days of river in just 8 days!
One of the bonuses of the Grand Canyon trip is that you need to pack very little for this journey. The canyon climate is mild so you will only need a few changes of clothes for your entire trip. Additionally as you will be travelling by raft you will need to pack light. You will be supplied with all waterproof river bags, camping equipment, and waterproof camera boxes.

Conservation
We ask that all travellers contribute $1.00 per person per day to support the Grand Canyon Conservation Fund. This fund will be collected during your trip and is used to further the protection of this amazing canyon.
