Winston Churchill described Uganda as ‘The Pearl of Africa’ and to many of the people that travel to Uganda it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Uganda is located where the savannah of East Africa meets the jungle of West Africa and is lush and varied. Uganda has a tradition of hospitality and culturally diverse, easygoing people.

Our Uganda volunteer programme offers you the chance to teach at a secondary school. As a Uganda gap year volunteer on this programme you will be providing invaluable support to a school that has extremely limited resources.

	East Africa Sports Adventure

Sleep under the sky in the African bush, climb Mount Kenya, cross the Samburu and soak up its culture - then go white water rafting, kayaking, river boarding and quad biking on and around the Nile. A proper adventure!


	Kenya to Uganda Expedition

Take an overland trip from Nairobi, through the fauna-rich Lake Naivasha National Park and into Uganda. There, you’ll help build essential village facilities before returning to Kenya and setting up camp in Big Five territory.

A complete and comprehensive 80 hour online TEFL course that includes everything that the 40 and 60 hour courses include with the addition of 20 hours in 4 specialist teaching certificates and a lifetime access to teaching helpdesk.


	Uganda Orphan Skills Training

Pass on practical or academic skills to vulnerable children, and improve their chances of finding work. Help with vocational workshops, school lessons, extra curricular activities, classroom building or raising awareness of HIV - you will make a difference.


	Uganda Reach Out to Children

Dedicate your energy and skills to helping some of the world’s poorest children. Assist with home visits and needs assessments, compile reports on the children or come up with new ways to raise funds.


	Uganda Teaching Project

Help give young people a decent start in life. Teach English and other subjects to children who have very little, but are always polite and keen to learn. Run extra activities and you’ll be even more popular!
