Country Information
Mongolia stirs up visions of the wild and the untamed – the warlord Genghis Khan, camels strolling in the Gobi Desert and wild horses galloping across the steppes. Mongolia still seems like the end of the earth and only when you have been encompassed by its vastness do you begin to wonder if you have stepped into another century, rather than another country. Mongolia is not only famous for its interesting landscapes but its climate is well known to be full of extremes, hot summers and freezing winters. It currently remains one of the few great adventure destinations in Asia.
