What can I do on my Gap Year?

Gap years can be whatever you want them to be. You may want to find paid work abroad, volunteer, learn a language, or get stuck into some serious backpacking. Whatever your plans, Real Gap Experience has plenty of gap year options and gap year advice to help you decide what to do on a gap year and arrange a programme to suit you.
Among our gap year and career break programmes, we offer:
- Gap year jobs - If you're aged between 18 and 30 you can make your gap year cash go further with a working holiday visa for Australia, New Zealand or both. We can also help out with paid work in America and Canada.
- Teach English abroad - We can help out with teaching positions in China, Japan, South America and Asia.
- Voluntary work abroad - We offer a wide range of truly rewarding volunteer projects. For example you can work on nature conservation projects, help underprivileged communities on a social volunteer placement, get hands-on with animals on a wildlife or animal rehabilitation project or teach and care for orphaned and abandoned children.

- Learning new skills - Learn a new language, how to cook, how to ride the waves in Aussie surf school, how to sail and even how to become a jackaroo/jillaroo on a real Australian outback ranch.
- Backpacking round the world - You may simply just want to kick back and have some fun whilst seeing the world.
Real Gap offer round the world trips to suit you. You can choose from our most popular routes or plan your own round the world itinerary.
