Wildlife Conservation Course Kruger

As a volunteer in South Africa you will do a course combining aspects of management of a game farm or nature reserve and being a game ranger. Therefore, this project is not a hands-on with animals experience but it is more informative and comprehensive if you are interested in wildlife and in African conservation. |

The Conservation CourseYour course will be broken down into three segments: ecology, management and necessary competence and knowledge in the bush.
This will include learning and acquiring skills in:
- Educational bush walks
- Conservation
- Identification of animals
- Animal behaviour
- Animal habitat
- Navigation
- Survival & First aid
- Game tracking
A comprehensive course that is also fun - you get a lot of experience in putting your skills to the test and meeting new friends on the course.
Project Location
The wildlife conservation programme is one of our South Africa volunteer projects. It is located in the Greater Kruger Area, North of Johannesburg.
Accommodation
On this programme there is a variety of accommodation to choose from: Rondavels, large caravans or sleeping under the stars on a lookout tower listening to the sounds of the African night!
