Project Location Livingstone, Zambia: Just 6km away from the mighty Victoria Falls
Zambia Zambia is one of the world’s poorest countries and as a result health care and provision suffers as much as any other public service sector in the country. Whilst structures are in place for an effective health service, there is an enormous deficit in terms of staff and resources. Therefore, your help is very much needed and appreciated by the nurses and doctors we work with.
Located just 6kms from the amazing Victoria Falls, you will also have a wealth of opportunities to explore the local area, and take part in a whole number of activities, from Elephant rides and Safaris to Bungee Jumping and white water rafting!
Free Time Victoria Falls is right on your doorstep and is known as the adrenalin capital of the world!
During your weekends and spare time, you will have the opportunity to experience the following activities, at your own personal cost:
- The world’s most exciting white water rafting on the Zambezi River
- Bungee jumping and gorge swings over the Batoka Gorge below the Falls
- Sunset cruises or canoeing safaris on the Zambezi River with experienced guides

- Helicopter and Microlight flights over the Falls and Zambezi National Park
- A fully organised weekend tour to Victoria Falls, including a variety of activities at just
US$250 per person. This will include lion walks, visas, accommodation, food and drinks.
