Zambia Teaching Volunteers

Volunteer Role

Work as a teaching assistant in the classroom, or within sports coaching projects, which keep children off the streets and improve their social skills. You can also offer support and care for AIDS orphans and underprivileged children from the local community. You'll get to take part in a variety of interesting community development schemes that aim to help those most in need.

During the week each morning, you will assist teachers and contribute to our effort of providing children with a better education, ensuring that you can give children the individual attention they desire but hardly ever get. In addition, you will have the opportunity to organise your own classes.

In the afternoons, you'll have the opportunity to help out on a range of volunteer projects in the local community.
