Gap Year Brochure

Home to the world famous Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River; Much of Zambia remains remote and undiscovered.

It is a wonderful country with friendly people however, it is one of the world's poorest countries and needs help with education, housing and medical care.

Real Gap's Zambia Highlights

Victoria Falls

Known to the locals as Mosi-oa-Tunya - the smoke that thunders. Victoria Falls is the largest waterfall in the world. It is also a great place to view the abundant Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe and other wildlife which call the area home. The falls are located just a few miles away and easily reached from Livingstone, the base for our Zambia Medical Programme.
