The Adventure Expedition
Combining a number of sports-based adventures, this programme looks to give you the very best of Africa. You will experience so much more than an every day tourist and you truly will get up-close and personal with some of Africa’s unique and special natural wonders! This programme is perfectly suited to sports enthusiasts looking to take part in something different during their gap year. Full of adventure and life-long experiences, you will never forget your time in Zimbabwe.

Programme Orientation
Upon arrival in Victoria Falls you will receive a comprehensive orientation, which is included in your fee. This is facilitated by your programme coordinator and entails:

  • An introduction to the town of Victoria Falls and an outline of each adventure week
  • You will have the opportunity to learn some of the local cultural nuances, as well as basic greetings and customs in the local language
  • Get to know the other adventure team members

On arrival at each adventure starting point you will also receive comprehensive training and support from fully qualified instructors and guides. This ensures you are adequately equipped to take part in each adventure activity.

Project Support
Throughout your stay in Zimbabwe you will have the support and guidance of experienced adventure guides. They will provide you with competent 24-hour field support and assistance. In addition, we will provide you with a 24 hour emergency contact number before you depart, so that you can contact one of our UK staff at any time should you need to.

Optional Extra Travel Highlights
These are not included in your programme fees:

  • The world’s most exciting white water rafting on the Zambezi River (approx. US$110)
  • Bungee jumping and gorge swings over the Batoka Gorge, which the water cascades into below the Falls (both approximately US$90 each)
  • Helicopter or Microlight flight over the Falls (US$90 for 15 minutes)
