Want to See the World but a Little Short on Time?

Wanderlust can lead you to incredible adventures but it can also be extremely frustrating when on home soil! We all have that burning desire to travel and #seetheworld but unfortunately, unless you are one of those lucky few who can do it on a full-time basis (nothing is stopping you) it’s always going to be a balance – that doesn’t necessarily have to be 50/50 though, it’s completely up to you!

It’s often thought that once you’ve completed your ‘Gap Year’ or ‘Gap Years’ (wink wink) your time for expansive travel is up – WRONG! This is SO not true… in fact it’s just the beginning. Don’t let routine and commitments restrict you, you simply have to work around or with them. Many companies and universities now embrace the concept of travel breaks and even sabbaticals BUT we’re not even suggesting you do that!

Here’s your answer… Short Trips! These little beauties have been set up to keep your wanderlust at a more than satisfied level but without disrupting your career or other personal endeavours. These ‘jam-packed’ adventures show you the highlights a country has to offer! Running from as little as 8 days and up to a maximum of 17 days they are easy to fit in without putting off loads of plans or taking up all your allocated holiday. If you’re already on your travels or fancy taking some time out for travelling – why not link these trips together or add on to the end of other adventures?

Want to know where you could be exploring? All is revealed below.

Bali

This Indonesian treasure is a province however many confuse the island as being a country - probably due to its reputation of being so iconic! Bali is crammed full with beaches, surfing, diving but it’s the spirit of Bali and the Balinese people that make it so ridiculously awesome! Our Bali Intro is 9 or 12 days of pure paradise and of course, partying when you fancy it. Some spots which you will get to see are the world-famous surf location of Kuta, the chilled and cultural hub of Ubud and the beautiful snorkelling utopia that is Gili Trawangan.

Cambodia

There’s a newly developed culture which embraces travellers with open arms but the rich history and heritage is still very much apparent. With development comes the opportunity to help, there are bucket loads of volunteer opportunities in Cambodia. The country is often misconceived with many travel possibilities overlooked. The best way to experience a country is always to go there, so why not?! You can visit India from a minimum of 1 week on our India Golden Triangle,  showing you tree of the area’s finest cities – Delhi, Agra and rose-coloured Jaipur, as well as an authentic rural village in Rajasthan.

Halong Bay for example is a spectacular scatter of islands towering out of the Gulf of Tonkin topped with greenery to create an incredibly picturesque location. There’s also Ho Chi Minh, a city filled with culture and energy. You’ll see street food, markets, temples and even skyscrapers. You can see the best bits in as little as 10 days on our Vietnam Adventure.
