Am I eligible to work in Oz?

If you’re aged between 18 and 30 (or 18 to 35 for Irish citizens), hold a valid passport from the UK, Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland, you can apply for a Working Holiday Visa. You’ll also need to show that you’ve got money to support yourself while you’re in the country, usually the equivalent of AUD $5000.

How do I get a visa?

We can apply for the working holiday visa on your behalf! Just book our Australia Working Holiday Visa package and when prompted, supply us with the required documents for a hassle-free application. Alternatively, you can apply for a visa yourself online through the Australian Immigration website.

How long can I work for in Australia for?

You are able to work in Australia for up to 12 months, starting the day you enter the country, on a working holiday visa. If you fancy staying longer, you can complete 88 days of qualifying regional work during your first year to allow you to apply for a 2nd year visa.

What kind of work can I expect to find on a working holiday in Australia?

Employment opportunities in Oz are as varied as they are in the UK, but typical jobs travelers find on a working holiday visa include work in hospitality, retail, travel & tourism, farming, admin, IT, childcare, teaching and nursing.

How much can I expect to earn?

Typical wages in vary depending on what you’re doing and in what part of the country, but you’re generally looking at an average of £15 per hour.
