Day 1: Nadi
Bula - welcome to Fiji! Today your group leader will meet you at the airport and take you to get settled in to your accommodation. Depending on the time you arrive, you'll have the afternoon to explore your surroundings, or chill out by the pool before heading to our welcome dinner and drinks, where you'll get to meet the rest of the crew.
Day 2: Vatulele & Yanuca Islands
Heading south in the morning, prepare to be wowed when you arrive at your beachfront accommodation. We'll set sail to explore nearby islands, Vatulele and Yanuca, making the most of the beautiful coral reef by snorkelling and kayaking through the crystal clear waters. Afterwards we'll gather round for a BBQ on the beach before heading back to the resort for a sunset yoga session. In the evening we'll huddle round a bonfire with the locals for a few songs while drinking kava from coconut shells - welcome to paradise!
Day 3: Surfing & Navola Falls
Want to learn to surf? You're in the right place. Today you'll have a lesson on the beach before catching some waves with our experienced surf instructors. And if the waves aren't up to much, we'll test your balance with a paddleboarding session. In the afternoon you'll need your trainers on as we trek through the jungle before cooling off in Navola Falls. In the evening we'll chill with some drinks while we watch the sun setting.
Day 4: Yasawa Islands
Today we set off to the remote volcanic islands of Yasawa. Sit back and enjoy the ride as we cruise to our destination in style - keep your eyes peeled for sea turtles and manta ray as we travel. We'll check into our resort just in time to enjoy some lunch, and then spend a lazy afternoon kayaking or paddleboarding, or topping up your tan on the stunning white sand beach.
Day 5: Limestone Caves & Local Village
Get a real feel for Fijian culture today with a morning trip to see some incredible natural limestone caves, to explore and learn about the landscape, before visiting a local village to take part in some traditional crafts while talking to the elders of the village about their way of life. They'll tell you all about how they farm and harvest their food and their general day-to-day lives. You'll gain a unique insight into this happy culture and get the chance to play football or volleyball with the local children.
Day 6: Mantaray Island
The waters that surround Mantaray Island play host to over 1,000 species of tropical marine life, which is why we'll be spending our time snorkelling there today. See if you can spot the parrot fish, reef squid, or even catch a rare glimpse of a bicolour rabbitfish - a black and yellow fish found only in the reefs of Fiji. Afterwards we'll lounge on the beach, play volleyball, or sip cocktails under the shade of a palm tree, and then chill in the evening around the campfire - bliss.
Day 7: Sunset Boat Trip & Beach Party
Beach activities and exploration are on the agenda today, as we step off the beaten track and visit some interesting areas known only to the locals. Later in the day we'll hop on a boat to drift out to sea, drink in hand, to watch the sun setting in front of us while bobbing on top of the waves. Back on dry land we'll sit down to a farewell dinner and be treated to a Fijian dance, before we get to throw some shapes of our own and party the night away.
Day 8: Farewell
It's time to part company and think about where you're heading off to next. If you're staying on in Fiji, this is your opportunity to ask your group leader for tips and advice on the best places to visit and things to do - like scuba diving. If you're heading home, you'll need to catch a boat back to Nadi, which we'll be able to help you with. Don't forget to swap details with your Fiji crew, so you can share photos and memories, or even a cold beer in another destination!
