Trip Info

Day 1: London to Paris
All good things start with Paris! Meet the crew as we head for the City of Lights.
After dinner you’ll head out on a night tour of Paris with your group leader. You’re about to find out why this city is famed for being the European capital of culture, fashion and food!

Day 2: Paris
You’ll be spoilt for choice on your free day in Paris! From the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay to the l’Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées, you’ll be sure to make a solid dent in your bucket list. Round your day off with an optional bike tour and a gourmet picnic beside the enigmatic Eiffel Tower!

Day 3: Paris to Swiss Alps, Switzerland
Trade in Parisian streets for snowy peaks. Home to the highest point in Europe, 72 waterfalls and one of the largest nature conservations in Switzerland, Lauterbrunnen is where we're spending the night. Upon arrival, chow down on Swiss cuisine and hit the bar for a nightcap. 

Day 4: Swiss Alps
Scenic hikes and jaw-dropping views are on today's agenda. Go low key with a mountain walk or hop on board the Jungfraubahn railway for a visit to the Jungfrau Mountain summit. You can opt to sky-dive out of a helicopter upon arrival, then a local feast awaits your return!

Day 5: Swiss Alps to Avignon, France
Welcome to Avignon! Tonight, why not round up the group at a local bistro – be sure to pair your meal with one of Avignon’s famous wines!

Day 6: Avignon to Barcelona, Spain
On our way to Barcelona we’ll check out the 2000 year old Pont du Gard aqueduct. Tick off the Columbus Monument, Montjuic (site of the 1992 Olympics) and Gaudi's Sagrada Familia on a driving tour! The day comes to a tasty end with churros and tapas, and there’s an optional flamenco show later!

Day 7: Barcelona
Time to explore! Hit the side streets and alleyways of Las Ramblas, take in the eccentric work of artist Antoni Gaudi at Parc Guell or give in to your inner football buff and kneel to the sporting gods at Camp Nou. 

Day 8: Barcelona to French Riviera, France
We’ll head north along the coast to the world's most lavish waterfront property, the French Riviera. Swap your patatas bravas for hearty French cooking and get ready for tomorrow's adventures.

Day 9: French Riviera
Head to the beach or let loose among the designer boutiques in Nice's Old Town. This afternoon, we'll hit up Grasse for a first-hand look into the world of French scent making on a guided tour of a 16th century factory. Later there’s a guided tour of Monaco and the option to hit the tables at the Monte Carlo Casino if you’re feeling lucky!

Day 10: French Riviera to Florence, Italy
You'll only have a few minutes to swap your 'bonjour' to 'buongiorno' this morning as you’re bound for the renaissance romance of Florence. Tilt your head for views of Leaning Tower of Pisa before trucking on to the Tuscan hills outside Florence to eat in the foodie capital of the world.

Day 11: Florence
Learn about the Medici family, stroll the Ponte Vecchio and get an in-depth tour of the city with a local guide. Later you’ll learn about the art of leather craft and see the awe-inspiring David at the Accademia Gallery. We recommend grabbing a Florentine steak for dinner tonight. 

Day 12: Florence to Rome
After a pit stop at the hilltop town of Orvieto to see the grand cathedral we’ll head to one of the world's oldest open-air museums on an in-depth walking . We’ll pass the Pantheon, see the stunning Trevi Fountain, sit on the Spanish Steps and visit the Colosseum. Phew!

Day 13: Rome
Vespas, espressos, and proper pizza – you’re in Rome. Head out on an optional tour of the Vatican City to see how Michelangelo created the High Renaissance, then shop til you drop on Via Condotti, head to Capitoline Hill for views of the Roman Forum and Colosseum or just kick back in Piazza Navona!

Day 14: Rome to Venice
We’ll head to Venice, check into our hotel and have an irresistible Italian meal. Opt for a Vatican City tour before we relax ready for our fun and get pumped for living out your own version of The Italian Job tomorrow.

Day 15: Venice
Check out St. Mark's Square, Accademia Bridge head out on a guided walking tour then jump on a vaporetto and explore the Grand Canal! There’s also a lace-making lesson and an optional gondola ride! Later, ditch the map and try to find the world's most epic little bookshop, Libreria Acqua Alta, or just go on a mission to find the perfect gelato.

Day 16: Venice to Pag Island, Croatia
Check out Postojna Cave and keep an eye out for stalagmites on the way to Croatia today. Set your watch to island time!

Day 17-18: Pag Island
Two whole days to relax and chill out in the sun! The water is warm and the food is awesome. Be sure to spend your evenings checking out the night life – this island knows how to party!

Day 19: Pag Island to Ljublijana, Slovenia
Today we’ll head to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Step back in to the Middle Ages on a walking tour - the Ljubljana Castle and Old Town here have been waiting for you since Celtic times. Tonight, hit up military-barracks-turned-bar-and-gallery-strip, Metelkova Mesto for live music and underground art installations!

Day 20: Ljublijana to Austrian Alps
Find out why Lake Bled is featured on so many must do lists today! Take in the aura of the Austrian Alps by foot or bike today, and enjoy a tasty dinner later tonight.

Day 21: Austrian Alps
Get our adrenaline on at the Alps! Skydive, paraglide and more, or just sit and stare at the storybook landscape! Tonight, tuck into weiner schnitzel and compare GoPro angles over dinner.

Day 22: Austrian Alps to Prague, Czech Republic
Begin the day with a sobering visit to the former concentration camp Mauthausen. Then we’ll head to the gothic castle spires of Prague for a walking tour amongst the cobblestone streets. Suss out the castle deemed the largest ancient castle in the world and cross medieval Charles Bridge.

Day 23: Prague
There’s another free day in store! Check out the John Lennon memorial wall, soak up some Czech history at the National or Communist Museum or get a taste of the quirky local culture at a marionette puppet opera. Later, grab the group and try an authentic Prague beer.

Day 24: Prague to Berlin, Germany
Get acquainted with 800 year-old Dresden and marvel at the Frauenkirche before heading to Berlin.. We'll drive you around to see (the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building before enjoying a hearty German meal.

Day 25: Berlin 
There’s an optional Third Reich walking tour to experience today, and some sobering local  insight into what the city was like during World War II. Tonight, hit the hot spots on an optional nightlife tour.

Day 26: Berlin to Amsterdam, Netherlands
Cheese lovers, rejoice. Your next stop is a local Dutch farm to see how cheddar (and clogs) gets made. Then get your bearings on a walking tour of vibrant Amsterdam and see the Dam Square, Royal Palace and National Monument. Later, head out for some exploration of your own!

Day 27: Amsterdam
Join the 881,000 bicycles on a city bike tour of Amsterdam's iconic canals, bridges and parks. Culture fiends, delve deeper with a visit to Anne Frank House, Van Gogh or Rijksmuseum. Check out the Heineken Experience for an interactive visit and tasting at the brewery. Bliss!

Day 28: Amsterdam to London, UK
All good things must come to an end and today we hit the road for the final time to head back to Blighty. Don’t forget to swap details with the rest of the gang before you go your separate days!

Accommodation & Meals

5 nights hotel upgrade, 12 nights in hostels, 8 nights in bungalows at European campsites & 2 nights in an Austrian Gasthof.

The number of people to a room on Club trips will vary. For hostels (the most common) you will have multi-share rooms and share with between 3 and 5 others while in hotels there will be twin or triple-shares (and the odd quad-room).  Bungalows can be up to 4 people to a room.

Multi-share accommodation is single-sex and therefore couples should not expect to share a room.

On this trip there is a compulsory Food Fund, which we have included in the package price. 27 breakfasts,  9 lunches, 16 dinners are included in this price. 

If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise us when you book. But please be aware that although we will do everything in our power to arrange it, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we use will be able to cater to all dietary needs, particularly in Eastern Europe. We also cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu.
