Day 1 Welcome to New York!
Welcome to the big city! Get ready to take a bite out of the Big Apple as you join the millions of visitors who flock to this exciting destination each year. Arrive into New York at any time today, you’ll be meeting your fellow travellers and friendly trip leader at 7pm at the trip joining point and we’ll sort you out with your 7 day Metro pass. Spend your first night getting to know your group and looking forward to your epic adventure!
Day 2 Lower East Side Tour
Today you’ll be taken on a guided tour of the Lower East Side! Fascinating and fabulous, it’s a visitor hub that you’ll fall in love with immediately. Your guide will show you the highlights of the Lower East Side, and we’ll then check out the amazing One World Tower, the sixth-tallest building in the world! You’ll have some free time after your tour, so why not make use of your pass and check out the surrounding districts, wander around Central Park or board a ferry to the harbour and marvel at Lady Liberty in all her glory!
Day 3 Discover New York
Today you’ve got some free time to tailor-make your time in New York, and with your metro pass you’re well armed! Perhaps head over to the Empire State Building to soak up panoramic views of New York’s iconic skyline, or find your inner culture vulture with trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History and the Guggenheim! Grab a slice of Brooklyn’s legendary pizza for a true New Yorker lunch, and if you’re drawn to New York’s fashion forward reputation, take some style inspiration from the locals and explore the best thrift shops! Your tour guide will have a treasure trove of great ideas, so be sure to ask for some top tips. Later there’s an included dinner with your group where you can share your best memories of the city that never sleeps.
Day 4 Departure
Make sure you’re loaded up with those must-have souvenirs before you head off! Your itinerary ends after breakfast today, so say your goodbyes to your awesome group and maybe catch some last minute sights before your flight departs! Your guide will be on hand to help you with travel arrangements and we’re sure you’ll be back soon – New York is pretty addictive!

Accommodation & Meals
Your accommodation during this tour is included, and you’ll be staying in hotels on a multi-share basis. Breakfast is included on days 2, 3 and 4, and dinner is included on night 3 only. This will give you a chance to try some of New York’s delicacies during your free time, and we’ve listed some favourites below!
- Pizza: Get real, Italian style pizza in the heart of the city. Brooklyn is our go-to for the best slices in the city!
- Bagels: A New York staple that makes a great snack at any time! Jam pack them with your favourites and enjoy them warm and toasted
- Ramen: Though this is a dish that hails from Asia, ramen restaurants are becoming super trendy in New York and you can get classic flavours or updated dishes with a city twist.
- Barbecue: Marinated, grilled meat often fixes a foodie craving pronto. You’ll find some of the best barbecue favourites in the Big Apple.

Can I Travel Solo?
Absolutely! The majority of travellers participate in our trips solo, as they’re a great opportunity to meet new people. You’ll be with a group during your tour, so there are always people to share the experience with!
What Can I Do In My Free Time?
New York is a fascinating city, and there’s always something to do! There are some optional activities that your guide will be able to set up for you if you’d like to participate in any of them, including TV and movie tours, helicopter tours and Central Park biking excursions! If you’d like to get involved with any of these optional activities, simply let your guide know and they can give you information about prices and availability.
Are Airport Transfers Included?
Airport transfers are not included as part of this itinerary, so you’ll be responsible for getting yourself to the initial meeting point and getting back to the airport on the day of your departure, though your guide will be more than happy to help you make arrangements.

This trip starts in New York City, NY on your programme start date. The three main airports serving New York are John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport. Once you’ve arrived, you’ll have to make your own way to our starting point.
To book your flights, please contact our flight specialist on 01892 277037 who will do their best to get you the best deal on the day. Please provide them with your full name as it is stated in your passport. Before you make the call please make sure you have your required departure dates, return dates and other details you may require.

Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) The US Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) allows most British Citizen passport holders to visit the US for up to 90 days. The types of journey that are permissible under the VWP include tourism, certain types of business visit and transit to another country.
