Day 1: Arrive in Uluru. Arrive in Yulara and get settled in our cosy lodge. After the sun goes down, pay a visit to the jaw-dropping Field of Lights and watch the desert pulse with coloured light. Then enjoy a few drinks with your new friends before hitting the pillow – tomorrow’s a big day!

Day 2: Uluru. Start your day watchingthe sun come up over Uluru – it’s a spine-tingling moment. Then head into the heart of the National Park with ahike into the unique landscape of the Walpa Gorge and the Valley of the Winds before exploring the domedrocks of the Olgas. This afternoon, join an optional dot-painting workshop with an Aboriginalartist, or an awesome Segway tour.

Day 3: Uluru & King’s Canyon. Fuel up with a big BBQ brekkie at King’s Creek Station before hitting King’s Canyon, for a guided hike through the most spectacular scenery. Climb the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ to the aptly named Garden of Eden, before watching the sun go down over Uluru with a glass of bubbles in hand.

Day 4: Trip end. Your incredible Outback adventure has come to an end and it’s time to make your way back to the airport, or to continue your travels around Australia. See you soon!

3 nights’ accommodation are included on this trip. We’ll stay in a cosy lodge in the Yulara township in quad-share rooms.


3 breakfasts and 1 dinner are included on this trip. You’ll have to buy all other meals yourself. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.

There are no planned activities for the first day of your trip, so arrive in Ayers Rock/Connellan Airport (AYQ) on day 1 or earlier (any extra nights of accommodation will be payable at an additional cost). We recommend arriving in time for the 5pm welcome meeting on day 1.

It might be in the middle of nowhere, but Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is pretty easy to get to. You can fly directly to Ayers Rock/Connellan Airport directly from a number of Australian cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin, Adelaide and Alice Springs). Transfers aren’t included on this trip, but a taxi is easy to organise (ask your travel adviser for more information). The journey time is around ten minutes, depending on traffic.

The trip ends on day 4 and you can leave at any time after midday. You’ll need to arrange return airport transfers to Ayers Rock Airport as well, but your tour guide can help with this. Please make sure you allow plenty of time for transfers, to mitigate for possible delays. We recommend a late afternoon or evening flight at the earliest.

You'll need to be a minimum of 18 years old to join this trip. This trip is designed for 18 - 35-year-olds.

British citizens who are not planning to work in Australia can usually obtain an eVisitor visa from the Department of Home Affairs (no fee), or an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay.

Should you require medical assistance whilst travelling, the local team or guide will be able to help you get to a point of care. Medical facilities and standards can vary across the glove, so you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place.

Varying group sizes
To begin with, many trips will run with amended group sizes, so you may find smaller groups than would be typical. This may vary by trip, or even by individual departure dates.

Whilst there may be changes on our trips, it is vital that you make travelling safer for yourself, your travel companions, the local staff and guides, and the people of the country you are visiting. You should follow all local laws and restrictions, and follow the guidance of the local team. In addition, you can help make travel safer by bringing and using your own face coverings/masks and hand sanitiser, social distance where appropriate, wash your hands frequently, and cover your face when coughing or sneezing.
