Working while you travel is an excellent way to help fund your trip. You probably won't get rich, but you will be able to support yourself and therefore be able to stay away longer!

Volunteer - Be a responsible tourist!
We live in the world's 4th largest economy, most of us have it pretty easy compared with over 90%
of the population. Real Gap is the original provider of ethical travel ideas and responsible tourism is
our main priority when considering new projects.
Why not give something back? Work with animals, within the community or on wildlife and
environmental conservation projects. Volunteers are really making a difference and are often crucial
to underdeveloped communities.

Our new two week volunteer holidays allow you to get involved in the same great projects as our longer term volunteers so you no longer need bags to join a worthwhile volunteer project!

Volunteer with wildlife
If you want to work with animals we have plenty of projects to choose from; you can do research
work in the field or get hands-on with caring for wildlife.

Community volunteering in one of the world's most underdeveloped countries is an extremely
worthwhile experience for a gap year.
