Day 1: London to Paris

Kicking the adventure off in London, we’ll meet bright and early in the capital before hopping on the bus and making our way to the coast to board the ferry to France. Arriving in Paris later on, we’ll be driven around the city to see the main attractions and afterwards get to explore for ourselves. Later on, we’ll meet up beneath the iconic Eiffel Tower for a gourmet picnic.

Day 2: Paris

This morning you’ll have some free time to explore ‘gay Paree’ and tick some of the city’s landmarks off your must-see list. How about heading over to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, or the Champs Elysées? This evening you’ll have the opportunity to tour the city on two wheels, take a river cruise down the Seine, or experience a traditional cabaret show (extra cost).

Day 3: Paris to Bordeaux

Grab the opportunity to pick up a few last-minute mementos from Paris before we head off to the beautiful Loire Valley. We’ll drive through some gorgeous scenery, stopping briefly to fuel up on food, take a look around, and stretch our legs before making the rest of the journey to Bordeaux. On arrival, you’ll have the option to join a tour of Château de Chambord – one of the most recognisable chateaux in the world.

Day 4: Bordeaux to Carcassonne

What better way to begin the day than with a winery tour? We are in Bordeaux, red wine capital of the world, after all. We’ll visit some of the region’s finest grape crushers and might even taste a few select tipples before making our way further south to the fairytale town of Carcassonne. The medieval walled citadel is about as beautiful as it gets, so far as towns go, and you’ll have the entire rest of the day to explore and discover the charm and draw of this place for yourself.

Day 5: Carcassonne to Barcelona via Andorra

Say au revoir to France today as we cross the stunning Pyrenees into the little country of Andorra. We won't be stopping for long, but enough to take in the views and then we'll make the rest of the journey to Barcelona. We'll tour the city on the bus, pulling up alongside city treasures like the Columbus Monument and Gaudi’s Sagrada Família. Tonight, dine out on tapas and churros at an included group meal.

Day 6: Barcelona

With a whole day to discover the capital, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, you’ll have plenty to keep you entertained. Why not begin your day with a walk along the Passeig de Gracia, followed by a visit to the Casa Mila, and then the Casa Batllo to discover some of the city’s quirkiest architecture? Indulge in some of the local food in the numerous markets and then in the evening, why not go to an optional flamenco show and learn some moves?

Day 7: Farewell

Today is the last day of the tour and there are no activities planned, so you’re free to head off any time after breakfast. If you’re not heading straight home or off on other adventures, why not chill out in the city, or explore some more?

Please note activities and itineraries are subject to change.
