Day 1: Arrival
Arriving in beautiful Siem Reap, our friendly team will meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. Depending on the time you arrive, you'll have the opportunity to explore the busy streets, colourful markets, and local attractions, or simply chill out. In the evening you'll get to meet the rest of your group and tour guide with a welcome meal and a few drinks.
Day 2: Siem Reap
Today you'll get to learn how to make some delicious traditional Cambodian food with a cooking class held by our Khmer master chef. In the evening we'll head out to the fantastic green rice terraces on the city's outskirts to enjoy the views by sunset.
Day 3: Angkor Wat
It's an early start to the day today to make our way to the ancient temple complex of Angkor Wat - a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to some of the world's oldest and largest religious monuments. We'll get to watch the sunrise over the main temple building before exploring the rest of the historical site and then head off in the afternoon to Phnom Penh.
Day 4: Phnom Penh
Today you’ll get to learn about the country's devastating, and not so distant, history with a sobering tour of the Killing Fields and S21 Prison, a former high school used as a prison in the 1970s during the Khmer Rouge regime, which was responsible for one of the most horrific mass killings of the twentieth century. Enjoy a relaxing evening with a market tour and a few drinks.
Day 5-6: Kampot
On day five we’ll make our way south to the charming riverside town of Kampot and head to a great spot along the river to have fun chilling out and playing in the water with rope swings, pontoons and river tubes. In the evening enjoy some food and a few drinks in our rooftop bar. The next day, spend some time with your pals in the accommodation's pool before going on a relaxing boat cruise down the river, stopping off to play a bit of volleyball before making our way back as the sun sets over the mountains.
Day 7-8: Sihanoukville
On day seven we'll head along the coast to popular beach destination, Sihanoukville. Famous for its pristine white sands and views across the Gulf of Thailand, spend a bit of time soaking up some sunshine and trying out some delicious local food before putting on your dancing shoes for a night of partying. The next day we'll get to head out for a boat tour of the neighbouring islands, and drop anchor at some of the coast's best snorkelling spots.
Day 9-10: Koh Rong Samloem
From one beautiful beach destination to another, we'll ride through the waves to the exquisite setting of Koh Rong Samloem - a breathtaking island paradise covered in lush green vegetation and long white beaches. Checking into one of our favourite backpacker resorts with its own private bay, we'll be calling this blissful place home for the next couple of days, so take time to unwind surrounded by the island's incredible natural beauty and laidback atmosphere.
Day 11: Phnom Penh
Today we'll make the journey back to Phnom Penh where you'll get some time in the afternoon to explore the city for yourself. In the evening we'll celebrate the end of our brilliant adventure with a farewell meal and party with the whole group.
Day 12: Farewell
It's time to check out and say goodbye to new friends today, and with no additional activities planned, you're free to depart at any time. You can ask your tour guide to help you arrange transport to the airport.

Accommodation & Meals
You’ll stay in a range of different accommodation during this trip, which will mainly consist of comfortable backpacker guesthouses, all with swimming pools and air conditioning, apart from your accommodation on Koh Rong Samloem, which is right on the beach with its own private bay! You’ll share a twin or triple room with other members of the same sex from your group. All of the hostels, lodges, and guesthouses we select for our trips are clean, safe, and set in great locations – so you get the most from your experience.
Meals aren't included as part of this package (other than the beach BBQ in Sihanoukville and the farewell dinner in Phnom Penh), which is a fantastic opportunity for you to get out and try the local cuisine – which is absolutely delicious by the way. You'll be able to get recommendations from your tour leaders on which restaurants, cafes and bars are the best to visit, and you should definitely check out the local seafood restaurants while you're in there. There are plenty of places serving authentic Cambodian food as well as diners and eateries offering western-style dishes, especially in the more touristy areas in some of the beach resorts. Do let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you book.

No need to bring bedding – it’s all provided at your accommodation. We do however recommend you bring at least one towel with you, but if you’re short on luggage space you can always buy towels locally.
